Following the resounding success of Applause 25: Gateway’s Silver Notes of Broadway, which marked Gateway College’s Silver Jubilee, we are thrilled to announce this year’s grand musical production, Applause 26: The A to Z of Music, Verse, Song and Dance. This highly anticipated event promises to be a vibrant showcase of artistic talent, drawing inspiration from iconic Broadway hits and treasured Sri Lankan performances amongst others.
Building on the momentum of last year’s milestone production, Applause 26 will once again bring together students from Gateway Colleges in Colombo, Dehiwala, Kandy, Negombo, and Ratmalana, with a guest performance by Springfield College Negombo under the expert guidance of veteran dramatist Kala Keerthi Jerome de Silva. Known for his visionary direction and creative flair, Jerome de Silva has curated a captivating lineup that features a diverse array of musical genres and dance styles, ensuring an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
