Samson Weragoda joined the Mount Lavinia Hotel in 1954 to the Engineering Department to repair elevators. It was his first job and he has worked in every unit of the Engineering Department so far. He knows the layout of the hotel better than the blueprints and he is also a part of the hotel’s history.
Samson Weragoda has helped majorly in building the beautiful fountain that is seen in the front today and made the small bridge after the security barrier at the hotel, wider.
Mount Lavinia Hotel wishes him all the very best and hopes that he will render his services to the hotel in the coming years as well.
