Robert Mujagic, with an experience over 28 years in the culinary industry, joined Hilton Colombo as Executive Chef. He is a native of Stuttgart Germany and has embarked on gastronomy adventures at the age of 17. He started his apprenticeship as a chef at a small gault Millau & Michelin Star rated fine dining restaurant.
Over the years, Robert Mujagic has perfected culinary arts across the world including in Germany, Russia, Croatia, Turkey, the Maldives and Thailand. He also has served many luxury cruise liners such as Vistafjord, Royal Viking Sun, Seaborn Legend and Azamara Journey, which enabled him to explore diverse cultures and authentic culinary techniques.
Commenting on his appointment at Hilton Colombo, Robert Mujagic stated, “I am delighted to meet new people and discover exotic destinations. Therefore, for me moving to Sri Lanka was a dream, come true. I suppose, at Hilton I will have the immense opportunity to express myself to the fullest and come up with creative culinary creations.”
He further added, “I would like to invite chefs from all over the world to visit Sri Lanka and experience its exotic flavours as well as warmhearted locals.”
