The Annual Open Tennis Championship hosted by Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo was officially launched with the finals to be held on June 5, 2014. This is the third installment of the tournament hosted by the hotel and is featured on the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) yearly calendar of events of note.
Speaking about the Tennis Championship, Denis Gruhier, General Manager – Cinnamon Lakeside said, “the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo – Open Tennis Championships is the only tennis championships in Sri Lanka successfully conducted by a five star hotel and at a competitive level that is supported by the Sri Lanka Tennis Association. We are proud to be staging this annual event and through the expert services of the hotel’s Health and Fitness centre, along with our generous sponsors, we are dedicated to maintaining it at the highest standard so that the country’s players, junior and veteran, can perform at their best.”
