Chamber Music Society of Colombo will present an evening of fabulous classical music.
The Chamber Music Society of Colombo (CMSC) proudly presents ‘An Evening with the Masters’, a concert celebrating the timeless beauty of classical music. This evening will feature an exquisite lineup of works by the legendary composers Mozart, Bach, and Haydn.
The highlight of the evening will be Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, showcasing Sulara Nánáyakkára, CMSC’s Principal Second Violinist, and guest violist Ilana McNamara as soloists. The program will also include Bach’s Third Brandenburg Concerto and works by J.C. Bach and Haydn, ensuring a rich and diverse musical journey for the audience.
This concert marks the inaugural annual performance in memory of Frances E. Jayasingha and Herbert W. Peris, made possible through the generous support of Malinee Jayasinhe-Peris. CMSC is honored to launch this special tradition, celebrating unmatched musical excellence.
