Created in Barcelona in 1984 by Thomas Meyer, a twenty year old Swiss national, Desigual’s latest collection and products are present in over 71 countries worldwide. The company currently has stores as well as an extensive presence in the best shop windows in all the major fashion capitals in Europe as well as New York, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Russia. Having flourished amongst the brand conscious audiences overseas, ODEL is confident of a positive response for Desigual in Sri Lanka. According to an ODEL spokesperson, truly representing a Spanish fashion statement, Desigual’s collection in Sri Lanka will be on par with international fashion trends that promise an elite fashion experience to Sri Lanka’s fashion forward generation.
