The Dutchman’s Street is a vintage, European themed, award-winning restaurant situated inside the Matara Dutch Fort accessing the Indian Ocean from its backyard, which is recognized as one of the best restaurants in the south with a range of international and Sri Lankan cuisines.
‘Dine with the Classics’ was an event organized and held at The Dutchman’s Street. It was an open-air street concept motor show dedicated to classic cars and bikes along with a range of street food, open mic sessions, karaoke sessions and DJ music throughout the weekend allowing visitors from all over the country to be a part of the event. Guests also had the opportunity to drive in their classic cars or bikes during their visit and a souvenir was gifted by The Dutchman’s Street to the owners of the vehicles.Since the first event of ‘Dine with the Classics’, which was one of the most successful events, The Dutchman’s Street is hoping to host an annual event with a larger collection of cars and bikes.
