Heritance Ahungalla was awarded the Best Hotel Team and Best Culinary Team in Sri Lanka after competing against both international and domestic star class hotels at the 14th Culinary Art Competition. Organised by the Chefs Guild of Sri Lanka, this event is the largest food and trade exhibition combined with that of a culinary competition.
Maintaining its reputation for offering the best cuisine in the country, Aitken Spence Hotels won an unprecedented 145 medals.
There were 25 categories for medals and the Aitken Spence medal tally displayed their superior ability.
