The Bollywood Food Festival at MLH, was a major event for the Hotel, and drew crowds in on the opening night. The guests enjoyed an experience that was true to the Indian culture.
Anura Dewapura, General Manager of the Mount Lavinia Hotel stated that they were very excited to highlight India, especially since Sri Lanka was attracting a very large Indian and South Asian community and indeed the ensemble cast of Bollywood stars making
Sri Lanka their home in June.
The visitors enjoyed performances, Bollywood music, Bhangra beats and authentic food by the food experts led by Chef Ved Prakash who were flown down for the event from the Imperial Hotel in New Delhi.
