Located directly opposite the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, restaurant Athgira offers Sri Lankan cuisine as well as a few international dishes for its clientele. Chefs at Athgira handpick fresh vegetables and meat to create dishes carefully combining those with imported spices and seasonings. Niluka Safari services also offer accommodation facilities at the Hasthiya bungalow just 15 minutes away from the Udawalawe National Park. The bungalow comprises of a large bedroom with four beds and a dormitory with eight beds.
