Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) unveils ‘Abhimaana’ a high speed broadband package designed exclusively for government sector employees and pensioners as a token of gratitude for their efforts. The package is denoted by the ‘nil manel’ or blue lotus, the national flower of Sri Lanka.
Greg Young, the CEO of SLT said, “the SLT Abhimaana broadband package will offer a superior broadband experience to government sector employees. Abhimaana will showcase SLT’s superior broadband platform complete with higher data volumes and offering consistent, uninterrupted, high-speed internet access.”
Roshan Kaluarachchi, Chief Marketing Officer – SLT speaking about the package said, “the Abhimaana package will be available to all government sector employees and pensioners at a monthly rental of 390 rupees. The package offers data speeds up to 2mbps and usage of 1.5GB with 0.5GB free volume monthly. We are also offering them value additions such as wireless routers at an exclusive price of 1,990 rupees.”
