The XVIII Session of the Colombo Model United Nations was successfully hosted by The Overseas School of Colombo (OSC) for the 18th consecutive year. There were 490 student participants from Sri Lanka (24 schools from across the country), Pakistan (2 schools), and India (1 school).
The COMUN seminar was inaugurated by Chief Guests Fadhil Makar (UN team of Volunteers – UNDP), Areta Williams (Head of The Overseas School of Colombo) and Dimitra Abeysakera (Secretary General – COMUN). With this year’s theme “Energy Crisis” in mind, the participants engaged in contributing to the eco-movement. COMUN is another example of The Overseas School of Colombo nurturing young adults to become responsible world citizens.
