Theatre came to Grand Oriental Hotel when it hosted an evening of humour, song and dance. Guests were greeted with a welcome drink and they were also able to enjoy a dinner buffet.
Actor Wilson Gunaratne (Charitha Hathak) portrayed four different characters along with a versatile team. British and German artists had the audience in fits of laughter while Nalin and the Star Combination provided musical entertainment. The audience also enjoyed compere Vijaya Corea’s humourous comments, which blended in with the mood.
